All these rumors about delays made me check with my dealer and Tricia. This is what I got back from Tricia:

My order was the first order in NE Florida on 5/20 as part of a dealer stock order. I know, I know, just because it is built late August, early September, doesn't mean that I will get it in September or even October, but I can still hope to be at the front of the line :bump:
Did you miss the subject to change? And also you have dealer stock.. Not sure if that is all part of job 1 but mine is retail and not sched yet so I would be very lucky if mine fell into job 2.. if not oh well... I can wait... well , almost, lol but yeah... I can wait.. I can't change that and something I don't have yet ids less a financial burden until it doors get here... was sooo tempted in getting my gun today but got it set up with credit now so my opportunity is not affected later.... sooooo many wants but trying to control it all

My dealer has 2 convertibles in order processing... one was ordered late July and the other was early June and it does show in cotus

The order banks won't even take the order because JOB1 for convertibles hadn't started yet. All convertibles get an error code " missing rear Springs" etc.

Do you have VIN for any of those to convertibles ?

Funny, this matter of placing a 2015 Mustang Convertible Order has been kicked to death. I agree, it is not possible to place a Mustang Convertible Order until Ford announces a JOB2 Production date for it. Those that claim to have a Order already placed (do not) have Prices or a "clean order" accepted. Error message and missing parts does not constitute a legitimate Order accepted into the system. 10/27/2014 is the tentative date but just like Fastback/Coupe production has been delayed, expect the Convertible to lag behind too. Looks like Springtime of 2015 for possible delivery.

Is rather have mine in spring anyway rather than seeing it in the showroom for two months and staring at it right outside my office.

If you were living in South Florida like me, you would want the Convertible for the Fall and Winter. By Spring & Summer, the Top would remain up with A/C constantly engaged! Sure, there might be a few humid evenings with temps in the high 70`s where you (might) put the Top down with the A/C turned on but still....meh. If it looks like a late Spring arrival, I`m waiting for the 2016 and pass on the 50th Dashboard Plaque. Maybe they might add another Interior color choice other then Ebony Black for the Base V6 Vert.

Its downright pathetic... Thats like telling someone that is holding a ball in their hand that its not a ball, its a cube.... For real,,guys

Maybe I can clear this up for everyone Seabee has a Mustang Convertible on Order at a dealership it's sitting in CONCEPS and awaiting to be plucked by FRAP and scheduled.

Yes he has ordered his car.

no he does not know exact pricing.

the order banks are not open.

You can build and submit a car in CONCEPS currently but it will stay there until FRAP picks up the order and schedules it. It is ordered and UNCLEAN right now.

He knows he wants the car for sure and is willing to pay what it will cost he just wants to be one of the first to have a 2015 Mustang Convertible.

Are you adding some (clarification) or just adding to the confusion? Seebee does in fact have (2) 2015 Mustang Convertibles ordered. One Black & one Yellow, fine. The "Order" was submitted in CONCEPS, I get it so far. However, and let me repeat, "However" it is (Not) a Clean Order until Flat Rock Assembly Plant picks up the Order. The Unscheduled Order Bank, usually the first legitimate step in either a Dealer Stock Order or a Retail Sold Order is (Not) open. What is the point or for that matter the advantage of placing a Order in CONCEPS pending the Unscheduled Order Bank Opening upon the announcement of a JOB2 production date? To get an Order with error messages and a list of missing Parts is still an Order? Think I`ll order my next Vehicle the same way after I see a Concept Vehicle displayed at the Miami International Auto Show despite the fact that it is not even close to going into Production (but) I do possess an Order Sheet showing whenever its finally built, I`m going to eventually get one.
