You know what they say about...assume.

There's no way to get a car in 2 weeks from the time you get a VIN. I even doubt you'll get it end of December, very unlikely. End of January, perhaps.

Pop your VIN in COTUS and see what it says. You can also ask the dealer for your build week for a bit better idea on timing.

Well apparently according to COTUS my car is in transit and should be here in 8 days or so.

Ordered a GT in black with the PP on 10/30 dealer told me it got picked up by the factory on 11/20 and gave a build date of 12/15. This will be the first mustang I've ever owned, also how long does COTUS take to show the order because it still doesn't show anything.

I have the same issue. Order entered on 11/10, and I just heard today that my build date is 12/15 ... but cotus says that no order exists. Ugh.

Anyone know if my dealer should have a VIN for me by now? Seems like he should if it's been given a build date ...:frusty:

And ... I got my VIN! And I'm in COTUS, finally! (Turns out my dealer gave me the wrong order number ... doh).

Well thankfully I'm deployed so there isn't much I could do till February but it's still kind of aggravating that I'm unable to see anything with the correct order number and dealer code.

Convertibles are not able to be viewed on COTUS. You can only get updates via dealership or Rachel (FordService) on here.

Works better if you send her a Private Message. Her user name is FordService and depending on how busy she is she usually gets back to us pretty quickly during the week. You can also call your dealer/salesperson to see if a build date has been assigned.

Same here. I ordered mine almost three months ago. Got vin earlier this month. Nothing in COTUS
