Alright... I'll go have a serious conversation with my dealer... If anything, I can walk to another dealer and place an order with priority 10.

no problem bro... bec i remeber wen i was placing order ..my dealer asked me for deposit ...before deposit he made it stock order... 99.. then he made 20... and once i gave huim 1000 buck he made it 10... so yes they can change priority i am damn sure

That's some bullcrap they were pulling! The way I see it, if I don't get my 'Stang, they aint getting a dime!

I didn't pay them anything to place my order. Now looks like I need to fight harder to get it built.

Got some good news today...

Mine just went awaiting shipment. View attachment WindowSticker.pdf

It originally had a build date of 11/2. I get back from vacation and it has been process and built. Very happy! :clap2:

After months of waiting. my car is awaiting shippment. ordered 5/27. i only live alittle over a hour from the plant were it is sitting out in the rain today. Sure wish I could go pick it up directly from the Flat Rock assembly plant and get it home before snow. Cotus states 14 days left. Please Hurry

So basically my dealer didn't give me a priority code that's high enough... Had they assigned a 10 to mine, it would have been built... Is that a fair conclusion?

Not necessarily. Priority codes are dealer-specific, not universal. 13 does NOT mean that everyone in the country with codes 10-12 gets built before you. It means that every car your dealer has ordered with a 10-12 DOES get built before you.

Right now they are prioritizing retail orders, so you have that in your favor, but you need to know if your dealer has any allocation available. Sounds like he might not, since others are sailing from order to VIN in a few days and into production in less than a month. (Hard to watch while I sit here at Day 105 of my journey, but that's another story.)

15 Ordered - but reading posts and being to get concerned

So how long does it take to get a VIN? Dealer said it would take 8-10 weeks for the car to come in. But the more I read, the more I get discouraged. I have been pre-approved for a loan that expires on 11/30. Doesn't look like Dec. timeframe is realistic.

Recent orders have been generating VINs in just a few days, and are being delivered in 6 weeks or so. It can happen, if you are a retail order and your dealer has allocation.
