When I first ordered my Mustang, on 5/20, the rep gave me Order No: 0001 and Priority: 99. On the way out he told me that he didn't do the orders, but handed the temporary Vehicle Order Confirmation (what he gave me) to someone else who did all the ordering for the dealership. I called back the next day and was given my correct Order No: B001 and Priority:11. Since I didn't see a new VOC, and it wasn't showing up on the http://www.cotusb.ford.com/ website, I called Mustang Customer Support the following day and they verified that they could see my order.

I would just follow up with your rep and ask him for the new Order Number and Priority.
I contacted him and he says that Order Type: 2 is for stock cars for the dealer. Order Type: 1 is for orders and would come later and Order Type: X is the one that shows the x-plan pricing but would also come later.
He says that x-plan would still be available to me...
Has anyone heard what each "Order Type" means??

When I ordered mine on the 20th which became the 21st it was Order# 0001 Priority 99. I was out of town and doing everything through email/phone. When I finally was able to sign the original order (agreeing to a non-refundable deposit) I received (requested it) an updated order confirmation with Order# R001 (Retail Order I Assume) and Priority 10. I checked last night and it is in Fords Order System and my bank account is $1K lighter :) I had X-Plan pricing on both the original and current order. Maybe pricing wasn't available on first day orders? My salesman has been great even though he's making a flat Commission. He's almost as excited to see the car as I am possibly due to the '14 Track Pack hell ride I took him on. What I am curious about is if my name will appear on the invoice/window sticker like it does on the order.

Send out a tweet to Ford Mustang and Scott Monty (Global Digital & Multimedia Communications Manager at Ford). I tweeted regarding wheel choice on Performance Pack (EB) and they responded that they will pass the feedback to Team Mustang.
Done. Let's see if I get a reply, or if I'm just :frusty:
Received a reply from @scottmonty "No idea. That's the purview of @aklozlesk now." Since @aklozlesk doesn't seem to exist, he is either passing the buck or has had one too many beers this holiday. I asked him to clarify the address. Anyone guess who he was trying to pass me on to? Might just be one letter off, I guessed @aklozdesk, but that doesn't exist either.

Well that might explain why it appears that he is living in the UK now.

The issues is that when I ordered my EB4 with both the Performance Package & 50th Anniversarv Pkg I didn't get any type of credit for not getting the 50th Annv Pkg wheels. Seems that there should be a discount for only getting one set of wheels (or they should give me the second set to sell on Ebay).

I'm thinking it might be an oversight. Any idea of who to send a suggestion like that to?

Excellent, I just retweeted to @fordmustang. If anyone else has this same issue, (ordering both the Performance Package and the 50th Anniversary Package but only getting one set of wheels with no discount) they should also tweet. You know, squeaky wheel... :help:

Yeah more people complaining on the same issue might actually get their voices heard. I did. Paying for wheels twice and getting only one set is not cool. :thumbdown:

Well, your not exactly paying for a full set of wheels with either package. You are paying for a change/upgrade from the default wheels - not sure how much that difference is...

This might have been touched on somewhere - but I saw on a prem. eceboost that having the PP and 50th appearance package, there is no reduction in cost when they are both selected? You dont get the 19" wheels and tires from the 50th package when selecting the PP as well... Why does it still cost $1,595? I feel like the wheels and tires of that package are quite a chunk of it. Almost feel like its a waste and might as well just get the premium trim package.

Fair enough. I'm sure we'd be happy with a reduction in price of whatever that difference is. Again, it doesn't seem like we should pay the difference in price twice :tsk:
