I'm Not Discounting the picture of the Brushed Aluminum Dash with the Gages because it's an Eco-Boost. Others have said it Is Not an Eco-Boost. They tend to think that it is a GT that Ford Installed a Vac/Boost Gage on. I believe it is an Early Build Eco-Boost Prototype with an Incorrect Boost Gage (15 psi instead of 30) and also believe that the Brushed Aluminum is Incorrect on that car because we haven't seen another single example of the Gages in either a GT or Eco-Boost with the Brushed Aluminum Dash, and Every One of Them had the Performance Package. For this Reason, I conclude that the Gages and Turned Aluminum Dash come together with the Performance Package.
Perhaps the answer is something like this:
Non PP - Brushed
PP - Turned
68b - Aluminum I/P panel that looks like brushed, but is different

Its a bit crazy that I've ordered a 35K car and don't actually know what I'm getting yet

I just went through the 1000+ pics that I have collected and not a single turned dash without the extra gauges. I did see both types of dashes with the extra gauges. So...

Non PP - Brushed
PP - Either (But what is the determinant?)
Not 68B at this point, which was my argument from the beginning... I agree with you and Tampabear67 and am also inclined that it is logical all Eco boosts will have the gauges with EB PP perhaps having the turned dash as the GT PP
Therefore again PP = turned dash

How are you all coming to the conclusion that all EB's will have the gauges???? Ford has explicitly stated only PP mustangs will have the Gauges and specifically said the PP GT will have a vacuum gauge instead a boost gauge for the PP EB

You may very well be correct. But are you so sure that you'd be 100% confident in placing an order and ending up with the dash you want? I'm not. :) Therein lies the problem, and why all of this detective work is still ultimately of limited value... other than giving whoever predicted it correctly the chance to pat themselves on the back later.

Looking forward to the official answer. However, I fear that it may not arrive until the build and price feature shows up (currently predicted to be in 1-2 months).

As far as I can tell, it's just a theory that it being used to support another theory.

To my knowledge EVERYTHING has pointed to the gauge pack only being available as part of the Performance Package. The Order Guide also seems to reflect this.

Wish we had more concrete information and fewer theories at this stage of the game, but oh well. It'll all surface eventually and we can be on our merry ways.

Exactly my point. What's the point with creating a theory when the FACTS prove them wrong? Fact 1: Order Guide states Gauges come with PP in both GT and EB. Fact 2: Ford has stated in interviews, posted in this forum in fact, that Gauges only come with PP.

Stop with the nonsense and look at the facts. Now as for the turned dash it is still unknown, but stop acting as if it is unknown what package the gauges come in. it's PP people.

Nicely said. I am confident that I will be able to change my already placed order prior to it being built. The GSM assured me of such. Once he receives pictures he and I will meet and make final changes if need be. Just hoping my redline interior does in fact look like the pictures so far.

And that illustrates things perfectly. :) Just so many darn questions still unanswered right now. I seriously considered going ahead and ordering, but I think I'm content to just wait until everything is in the open. If I ultimately have to wait an extra month or two for delivery of the car, so be it. The wait isn't going to kill me, and I still have my 2012 to keep my company while I wait... ;)

But what we have not seen is if the Brushed is in fact the base dash or the Premier trim dash.

and all of the pictures shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt. the dash would probably be the main thing they would want to test out in different trim packages to see which they liked best for each package.
You are correct in stating all the pictures SHOULDN'T be taken with a grain of salt. However your speculation isn't nonsense yet other's are? There are pictures of base radio cars with turned dashes along with premium built. The only common theme is The PP. So it is not nonsense to have some confidence in tying the turned dash to the PP. It may not be fact, but........
Peace

For me it doesn't really matter, since the performance package is more important to me than the dash. They have both kinda grown on me. So, I'm glad I ordered when I did on May 20th and now I get to open the package when it arrives and be surprised! Talking about it is sort of like what we all do before Christmas, wondering what we are getting. :gossip:

Damn typo's. And they should all be taken with a grain of salt. And I never said the dash wouldn't come with PP but most people with that theory are basically saying it like it should be accepted as fact when it is still clearly unknown. there is so much confusion in the order guide when it comes to the dash and no clear explanation for a combination of some of the dashes in the pictures. And just because only one photo has a brushed dash with gauges doesn't mean it should be ignored and assumed as a mistake. How many pre-production cars did they make? They just simply couldn't realistically make enough cars to show off all of the different examples of each package. My only speculation is that it is unknown which package turned aluminum comes with. It's irresponsible to claim or speculate otherwise.

Stupid question: Why would a twin-scroll EB Mustang NOT come with a boost gauge (without PP)? I know my wife's Escape doesn't have it, but it just seems like something that should come standard in a Mustang when you have a turbocharged engine.

Something shiny they can charge you for. And there are lots of performance turbo vehicles out there without a boost guage.

I never said the All Eco-Boost cars will get the Gages. Only the Performance Pack Equipped cars. I think that Eco-Boost with the Brushed Aluminum is a Fluke due to it being an Early Prototype before Trim Levels were finalized.

That was my nonsensical error, not yours. I speculated such and it clearly offended and was in fact irresponsible of me. Tongue and cheek fully intentional!

Robust discorse is healthy and not hurting anyone. I still agree with you on PP= turned dash although it's been stated that all the pictures be damned except for one. Hmmm?

Remember only facts should be considered from now on.
