Hi all, has a questions regarding the 2015 ecoboost mustang . Is it reliable ? There are some posts said it has issue with the heat shield - which has been recalled from ford. Some mentioned there is white smoke ?? And vibration in 55-60 mph? Are these common issue for this model ? And beside of these anything else ? Thanks so much for the response n comments!

No not common. All models have issues here and there. Iam a 14 build and have been tuned since 1k and a lot more since. Almost 20k now no real issues. Heat shielding recall and an updated pcv tsb is about it. Not a single real issue, it's been solid and I love it.

You can get a EB PP with the auto. The big plus for me would be the 3:55 diff. The other problems you mentioned are either addressed or common to all models- like the vibration problem. Test drive the car you want extensively and make sure the tires are correctly inflated. Do not buy a car that has any of the 55-70 driveline vibration. It will just open a can of worms trying to get it fixed.

I have a 15 EB PP Automatic with none of those issues.
