So i am farley new to the whole car scene, i have a 2015 Ecoboost with 70k miles, i have a borla catback exhaust and catless downpipe, no tune yet, car runs perfectly fine but i notice occasionally when idling smoke comes out my exhaust, some times pretty thick! it goes away after a minute but i'm curious as to what could it be? bad turbo? bad turbo seals? do i just need a catch can? any help would be appreciated!

If you don’t have a catch can get one asap… start there, take your intake tube off and grab the shaft of the turbo and try and shake it to see if there is any play in it, if not your seals are probably fine. Check your coolant make sure no oil is in it. If all that is fine it could just be condensation, that looks like thick smoke sometimes. Again, catch can is a must!
