So I've heard that Ford changed the 2015 Coyote firing order back to that of the Modular 4.6, does anybody have any more info on this because I can only find it spoken of in passing and no real documentation from Ford themselves.

Don't think this is true. All documentation I've seen states that it's the same firing order it's been since 2011.

The boss had a different order right? Id say if they changed it that would be the direction they would go.

Here is the firing order for the 2015. It might be different from previous years

OK that's what I thought, I read it on SVT performance. It was said by MMR, here is a quote.

"2015 heads do interchange but the motors will not, the firing order on the 15' went back to the old 4.6 firing order, so this would require that 11-14 cams be put inside of the 15 motor (among other things)"

Dumb article.
The voodoo might be a different order (don't know on that one), but the coyote firing order didn't change.

Yes it did. I will find it and post it.

Modular V8s were 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
Coyotes/Flatheads 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2

Guess which matches the spark order posted above?
The coyote is a modular motor btw....

So I've noticed that none of the 2015 engine articles actually say what the new fring order is, I thought one of the main reasons for the firing order was to allow the use of tri-y headers from the factory.
