2015-2017 & 2018+ Cars needed for Aero R&D in Raleigh, NC

Hello all,

Carter's Customs, owned by Adam Carter, is a company in Raleigh that develops affordable aero parts for cars (primarily SN95 platform). He make great products and recently just released a new series of splitters that would benefit anybody looking to increase front end downforce. Currently, they are only offered for the SN95 platform because he doesn't have access to a S550. I dont live in the Raleigh area to use my car, but if anybody is willing to lend theirs for development, you would be doing a great service to your community lol. I dont know how long he will need the car for but if interested, feel free to contact him.

I ended up bringing my car to get templated last month. He has a nice setup in his garage. I saw the work he did on both his car and a GT-350 he had onsite. I have no doubt that he will do a great job on the S-550’s. I’m Now just patiently awaiting the final fitting and finished product. I’m guessing that he will take some photos for his website but if you’re interested in seeing it in person I’m planning on hitting up some local car shows , the Hot Rod Power Tour in hopefully Rockingham and Concord and Mustang Week in the fall. Or shoot me a message and maybe we can meet up. I can post some photos when it’s installed.

Well, it took a while for our schedules to line up but this morning I had the Carter’s Custom front splitter fabricated and installed.

Adam does nice work and now has the pattern for the 2016 Performance Pack GT. It clears the engine bay belly pan brake cooling channel ducts and sits flat as a splitter should. I’m planning on attending Mustang Week if you want to see it up close or check out his webpage, he should have the photos up soon.

I didn't see the front splitter available on his website. I did see the side and rear, which I like. I plan to drive to NC next month and wouldn't mind having all three pieces installed.

Mine is a Performance Pack, he used it for the template. I am not sure if he has put it on the website yet. Give him a call and see. He’s pretty busy so if he doesn’t answer keep trying.
