I thought I would add my experiences with my GT so far.
I absolutely love this car, and really look forward to driving it at weekends. It was always going to be a plaything rather than a daily, but although I've got used to it it still brings a smile to my face.
Now I don't pretend to be technical and there are a few on here that are lightyears ahead on these matters and I have read with interest the suspension mods that have been done. I feel that the car from the factory is pretty good, and I have always felt in control and safe.
Is there room for improvement, of course, but it depends on what you want . I'm not ruling out any future mods but it would be for the future. The car seems to be getting better the more miles I put on it,almost like the newness is wearing off and it's settled .The trip down to Cornwall was great, and I was able to open her up a bit with a great roar and a throw back in the seat feel(didn't do my back anygood lol)We stopped in the services, and a police car came over and parked next to us and I thought ere we go but I wasn't speeding???They just asked us questions about the car, and warned us about speed cameras in the next county.
I haven't pulled the clutch spring, I'm ok with the clutch, I bought a front wheel for the boot(for trip)just incase, I'm guessing it would be ok for the rear as well just to get us to a tyre place, the weight doesn't seemed to have affected anything(MPG probably )
It does fit in its space but its proud and the cover fits on top rather than flush.ive changed the oil I suppose because others have. There has been a couple of minor electrical glitches, the bonnet open indicator stayed on but it was clearly shut, I just released and
Shut the bonnet again to clear, and today I couldn't lock the car with the handle I had to use the key fob button, but it worked ok when I got back from shopping.I think the car seats are going to wear easy but they are comfortable and the heated seats work fine.Gear change when cold feels a bit notchy but it doesnt last long and no thuds or clonks from the back, the V8 is superb and that sound is just awesome. For those that are waiting for there's, it's really worth the wait you won't be disappointed, and for us privileged first deliveries I hope to see you at a meet sometime soon.:ford:

Thanks for taking the time to write this, it is nice to read your thoughts, especially for those of us still waiting for their cars. Look forward to the 3000 mile report

It's an expensive way to get a spare, but I was unsure what would fit and talk of a smaller wheel doing the transmission in and clearing the brembo's ???,so I just got the the front wheel size.
I live near Canterbury , I was hoping to come but I may be in st Austell again . I've already met Ian whu( nice guy ) so I was looking forward to a proper meet up.

Do you end up in St Austell because once you get in the Mustang you just can't stop?
