Id like to see the option list for the car. I know the base model starts at 79,990. I know someone that got one for 80k out the door. You never know!
It's probably a 2LZ trim level with the Z07 package[?] Should be simple to track down, gimme a minute ... :D

[edit]

Actually the stock# 16C008 from that ad is a convertible Z06, 3LZ + Automatic.

However, they do have one, #16H008 that's a coupe + 3LZ + Z07/carbon package, roughly the same MSRP, same discount.

No thanks. Viper>Vettes.
Yeah, I'm a bit of a "Corvette Guy", had 4, did an NCM delivery, but that being said, the a Viper GT @ ~$100K vs. a C7Z06 @ ~$100K, at least in terms of comparing MSRP (maybe better discounts on the Vette, but I'd assume you could get 8-10% on a lot Viper as well) - I'd take the Viper.

If course the Vette has an auto option which might be a major factor, but honestly, the Viper kind of makes the Z06 look like a Pep Boys special, there's just too much plasticky tick-tackity for my tastes, the Viper is a super special, one off, hand built supercar.

it has an engine!
I almost purchased a base model viper with a wheel upgrade for about 70 otd. They have knocked about 15 grand off mrsp on vipers almost a year ago iirc.

Isn't the Viper on its deathbed? I thought they were getting rid of it after this year? If you ever wanted one, now's the time!

Yeah, as far as I know, it's done, actually surprised it lasted this long given the sales, but I guess as a "halo car", it was held to a different standard.

I still think it's by far the more interesting car, even with production ending.
