I just put a set of Michelin 4Ss on my PP but want to go with a square setup (for rotating) and wider tires next time.

I really like the nickel finish on my factory wheels so hoping someone sells replicas like that. So far I've only seen 19x10 in black or chrome. Any links to nickel or silver ones appreciated.

As for offsets, I suspect they need to be different front to back to achieve the same orientation with the sheet-metal. If that's right, what size spacers are needed on one end?

And if I end up having to refinish the replicas to Nickel which would be better to start from, black, chrome, or PVD chrome. Which of those are likely to have the smoothest surface after stripping (if any difference). I suspect those finishes are not equally good at hiding a rougher surface so one may have a better base to start with.

OE Wheels LLC has silver ones. They look good. They are +35 offset so they can be used front and back.

Thanks. I looked and can't find PP replicas in anything but black and chrome :frown: Maybe just out right now.

They also say the 19x10 won't fit the brakes on a Boss 302. So makes me wonder about the PP brakes. But if they have the same backspace as the factory rear wheels, they won't work on the front without some spacer which is no big deal.

I need to find out the factory backspacing front and rear. If its the same, the wider replicas on the front will stick out farther than the back and the ones on the back will need a spacer to even that out. I'm guessing the factory backspacing is different or models with a square setup from factory would have rear wheels set in too far.

It says that but there's been another member who purchased them and they fit.

They don't seem to be available anymore. Not sure why.

Thanks!

If they aren't available anymore, probably didn't sell enough.

I'm willing to refinish. I like the nickel PP wheels better than any aftermarket wheel I've seen other than some 3 piece wheels of a similar design.

Worth an email or call to them.

Uh oh. So those pics aren't of a square set up. 8.5" in the front, same as what I have from the factory. So, 10s on the front with the offset of the rear will stick out another 1.5" further than those pics. :frown:

No, the +35 offset is awesome for a 19x10 all around. It'll still be inside the fender, but just. I have 19x9.5 +35 and it could go out another 10+ mm to be flush (which is why I've considered a 5 mm spacer up front). The 8.5" has a narrower offset than the 10".

Isn't this what you're looking for? I really don't like black rims either. Ok fine, doesn't go to 10" wide but really, is there a point to going past 275-section tire?

Thanks; machined face is nice but those are the same sizes as the factory silver ones that came on the car.

I may just need to buy 2 more used factory rears and figure out what combination of spacers (front and back) lets them clear the struts in the front AND stay within the fenders the same amount front and back.

Assuming the factory non-staggered wheels can be rotated (have the same backspace), that would mean a rear PP wheel on the front would stick out 1/2 inch PLUS the thickness of the spacer to clear the struts farther than the factory PP front. Just not sure if that would stick out more than I want either just too far or noticeably different than the rears without some spacer there to even things out.

Update: I have been thinking that Ford used the same backspacing (back and front) on the factory PP wheels but the more I think of it, probably not since the factory fronts do clear the struts (duh!).
