19 A10 feels somewhat laggy?

I’ve finally given it a little gas in all the modes tonight and it just doesn’t feel very snappy. I’m not sure what I was expecting but punching it around 15 mph, just left me unimpressed. The lag felt like a couple seconds before it kicked in.. would a tune help this out? The car has right at 875 miles... anyone feel the same way?

Do you have all the nanny's on? If so it's probably trying to kill the power to keep you from driving into a crowd of by standers.

If the traction control and stability trac is off I doubt you could mash it at 15 MPH and not have your hands full.

I believe I had everything off, track mode was on. Testing the car on a nice dead end road and probably went through each mode 2x.. the down shift into a lower gear, which I presumed was first, just felt lengthy. I think I like a more aggressive throttle perhaps? Is that what’s referred to as “tip in”?

Hold traction control switch up for 5-7 sec until you see Advance Trac off. This should turn off torque management. This must be done for any mode you switch to. Track is fun but switching to drag mode then turning advance trac off and launching is a damn riot. Even stock is a hoot. Keep in mind drag is only good at full throttle.

But yes a tune also wakes this car up. Especially a flex or straight e85 tune.

Thank you, I’ll hit the test road next weekend and try what you said to do. I know for a fact I only switched to the modes and did not press to get advance track off. Thank u
