18" Wheels and PP

I am presently running Project 6GR 19" wheels. Am wanting to go to 18" anybody know if they will clear the PP Brembos?

IIRC not those Forgestars (F14). The inside of the barrel is tapered rather than "flat". I think it's the CF5's that do fit over the bigger brakes, at least that's what I remember from Vorshlag's efforts a while back. And I checked one of my own F14's (18x11) to be certain of the matter of barrel taper.

Not that any of that matters if you're in any hurry whatsoever. Starting not quite a year ago Forgestars became so difficult to obtain that Vorshlag quit advertising them.

Thank you for the info. Looking at sizes in 18s they look skinny. I want a fat tire with say 40 sidewall

You can easily do a 18x10 CF5 wheel for the platform it clears and rock a nice fat 295 or 305 tire

Im looking at purchasing Project 6GR 19" rims. My question is how did you like them? Why you changing?

Apex EC7 18x10 +43 is a square set up that clears the PP brembos. 5-15mm spacer needed for the front depending on which tyre you run. [MENTION=27979]ApexRaceParts[/MENTION] can provide more info

Someone was running 18" F14s. Apparently they did a design mod to fix the barrel clearance issue.

As [MENTION=29474]spiller[/MENTION] indicated, our 18" EC-7 Mustang wheels will absolutely clear the PP brakes. Please let us know if you have any fitment questions.
