I recently had a 18 intake manifold installed with mmr lockouts. I’m running stock injectors and a jlt cold air intake. I’m getting the code p0300 after the install. Could this be within the tune or something with the install ? Had it tuned running 93

Isn't p0300 a misfire?

Did you get the CEL immediately or days later?

Did you go back and double check everything was plugged back in?

Is the tune your currently running set up for an IM swap?

P0300 is for a random misfire. It's probably centered around a single cylinder, but it would be good to know what cylinder(s) are missing. I bought an inline spark tester,

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002STSC6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Works great showing you if spark is getting to the plug. I would also recommend getting the Torque App Pro (if you have Android). Using one of those bluetooth dongles, you can read misfire counts on cylinders.

The items I mention above total to about $25, and you will be able to see a lot of engine parameters.

Could be the intake is cracked.

I had the same code, and the intake manifold was replaced under warranty.

I have a 2018 mustang with P0300. It only flashes the SES light at full throttle and above 3rd gear. The vehicle NEVER feels like it is actually missing. It is always only the P0300. Have done an IMRC lockout and that didn't fix it. Car has a air aid cold air intake and cat back. I would love to know when you get the code and if you got it fixed.

Other than the cracked manifold issue mentioned above, it could be a gasket issue on the intake manifold? If the gaskets (I recall each intake runner has one of those oval gaskets that goes between the manifold and the heads) either aren't seated properly, or damaged, this could cause random p0300 codes.

I had this code before it end up being a cracked CAI that I got from DMARK . I would do a good inspection on the manifold install .
