18 Mustang Intake Manifold

Has anyone tested whether an 18 intake manifold can be upgraded to a cobra jet or if an 18 intake manifold can be installed on a 15-17. I haven’t seen enough detailed pictures to form an opinion on whether this would work considering g all the changes on the 18 engine bay.

I honestly can't see a cobra jet or boss IM fitting with the stock hood. Other than that they should work. No idea if the IM is different than the last gen. I really thought that they would have went with the GT350 mani, but apparently not.

Has it been determined if the '18 intake manifold is the same as the 15-17 or is it a newer "stock" version, orrr is it a GT350?

X2 we all need to know what is interchangeable and what isnt!

Following. Some parts are definitely different (purge valve is off engine on driver's side, etc.) but that can be resolved with connectors, adapters, etc if new intake is really <$400. This looks to be similar in height to the GT350 intake manifold....

I agree. The runners do look shorter than the gen 2 intake.

Jon Lund made a comment on FB to me that he believes it's between at GT350 and the 15-17 intake. Looking forward to seeing if it's a direct fit and what can be done with it. I'm sure Ford went this way for a reason. GT350 could have been an easy path.
