Hi there
I want to install the new leather wrapped center console part, like the new 18-19 premium Mustang. I just can’t stand the cheap feel of the plastic one on my 17.
So, someone with the new leather interior if you dont mind can I have a VIN so I can order the leather console
Or if anyone know the exact part number,it would be great!

It's not leather, it's a (not-so-soft) soft-touch plastic, minus the knee/leg pad on the side which is indeed extremely thick and soft leather.

May be cheaper and look nicer if you take it to an Upholstry shop and get it wrapped. I think mine turned out great!

Did you try to get the 2 upper pieces of the Dash and the side panels bordering the Radio wrapped? I'd like to get it all done.

That’s next on the list! I plan on doing matching alcantara with the silver stich.

I'm going to subscribe to this thread, if you get it done, please post pics. My understanding was those panels DO NOT come off, the dash is one giant piece (see pic). But I can't imagine that they somehow can't be removed? View attachment 292991

Yeah, I like the way that looks. Wonder if those can be swapped.
Oh, yea, in my 19 it certainly looks better and is more "premium" than the rock-hard plastic center from my 16. I just want to make sure that the OP knows this before spending money, receiving it, touching it and going "wait a second! :explode:" :)

lol. Yeah that would suck spending that money for the some thing with some stitching.

I can't wait till some 18-19s end in the junk yards so I can start picking parts off them.
