I bought the car used. It had 128000 kms with a 6-spd automatic. It now has 135000 kms.
I've had the injectors flushed. Changed the spark plugs. Cleaned and serviced the throttle body. Manually reset the throttle body sensor. Nothing helps.
It hesitates/stumbles when you first push the throttle, then recovers and takes off. Doesn't matter if the traction control is on or off. The tires won't spin after the hesitation takes place. It doesn't do it every time. Mostly when I want to race someone. PITA.
If it were carbureted, I would say it needs a fuel filter change, or new accelerator pump. Or both.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
