After two months of owning my GT PP I accepted the fact that I hate it... Traded it in today for a GT/CS AUTO! I hated the PP and 6m. Ride was not great, gearing was too much, and the clunky chunky 6m was a big turnoff. The A6 is super sweet! And I am much happier now. Even upgraded a lil with the CS, and 401A electronics package. Shaker pro is nice upgrade to actually have a lil bass.

How do you like downshifting/rev matching with the paddles and sport mode etc?

I feel the GT PP would be more fun to daily drive if it had a smoother shifting manual transmission.

It sucked to daily drive. So far the auto is fun in sport or sport+, but SOOOOOO nice just to kick into D and cruise.

I love the Auto, but I admit; if the GT PP came in an Auto, I'd be all over it. That decision by Ford still baffles me.

I must've gotten the only good shifting MT-82 on the planet - I love mine! But I do agree with you as when I test drove a Perf. Pack car, I felt the gears a little steep for my liking. I still think I should've at least opted for the 3.55s. I went with the 3.31s and feel they're a little high - especially for 6th gear. Car falls on it's face in 6th.

Quite honestly, Ford should make the 3.55 standard, 3.73 with Perf. Pack and 3.31 optional for cruising. I can't complain about my MPG's though - for a V8 car, it's great!

I love my MT much more since I put in a Barton shifter, but I gotta say if I would have had the choice, I'd rather have 3.31s instead of the 3.73s the PP has. My base 12 GT had 3.31s, and it seemed just about perfect.

You can always upgrade wheels and suspension.

I love my manual 3.73
Me too! Probably won't love the 3.73s too much after I put some boost to it but n/a I think they are great.
