@Todd15 - agreed. The only one that can say which one is better is the one buying either one.

I'm not gonna race any cars, so the extra 12 HP or so doesn't phase me.
I love cruising with the music cranked up, so extra features are priority on my list.

I'm waiting for the vert to come out in the spring before I decide. The new Camaro vert's hard tonneau system has really got me wanting it. AND they've gotten rid of the "water collection bags".

Plus the color HUD, customizable lighting system inside, electronic gauges (4 layouts to pick from at any time), lighted sill plates - all these things are making me want another Camaro.

The wife is starting to be in the market though - that Ecoboost is looking good for her. One of each in the driveway? oh yeah.....

1. Still chunky
2. They use the front end design of a Toyota Camry/Corolla, when making this new front end.
3. Recycled taillights.
4. Inside Dodge Challenger like interior.
5. The price.

I just want to know the weight...
I wonder why it hasn't been officially released yet? Same issues as when ford released the 15 stang? Oh, crap, we messed up. Its not going to meet our goals...

Sad thing is the stang doesn't use have as much of that "WEAK" aluminum (see bear cage commercials) as the new 'maro does, and will weigh less. Thats embarrassing. Use as much aluminum in the stang as GM makes fun of the F-150 for using, and we've probably got a serious sports car. It would cost as much as the camaro, but I'd take that trade off.

The inside doesn't look anything like the challenger. Cup holders are at different angles, door panels & handles are different, etc. And tell me Ford doesn't use the same style front end on most of their cars. The mustang, taurus & fusion look similar from the front. They all have the same chopped off pig snout looking flat grille area & half wraparound headlights.

tail lights - similar to the stingray, yes. But better than the 2014-2015 Camaro.

I'm not a huge fan of the mustang front ends, but that Shelby on the front page of this forum looks fantastic

GTFOOOOOOutttaaaaaaaa here with that pricing.

It's exactly this sort of nonsense that makes GM come across as being obnoxious and out of touch. Who (aside from the Camaro fanboys) is going to pay those starting prices?

I do agree - they have screwed up on the new prices. I can't wait to see what the 2LT/RS is gonna start at & what the extra for the vert will be.

So you compared the Mustang's front end to a chopped off pig snout, yet you say the Shelby on the front page of this forum looks fantastic. So which one is it. Both the GT and the GT 350 look pretty much the same, minus a few front fascia parts. So are you like some kind of Chevy scout or fan boy/girl. Don't come here to start a fight you can't win. Cry all you want but that doesn't change the fact you have a Camaro that you don't like but foolishly choose to defend. The fact that you replied to my words shows how much it effects you. Today you embarrassed not just yourself, but your car as well. :paddle:

I do in fact like my Camaro and I sure as hell ain't a scout for GM. And those "few fascia parts" are what make it look better so your "which is it gonna be" just doesn't make sense. That Shelby has a different bottom trim kit that I like better than the regular Mustangs. It's got those vertical pieces that go down & outward at about a 40 degree angle to the left & right. IMO, it really makes it look outstanding.

Nobody wins any of your so called little "fights" & I ain't trying to start one - grow up. There are great people & idiots on both of our sites....which one are you gonna be?

Excuse me I didn't get to read your last post, I was too busy reading this.
http://noln.net/article/gm-says-it-owns-your-cars-software
Yeah, so? I won't be "tuning" mine or doing anything with the software, ECU's etc. so I really don't care who owns the software. If it makes the dealerships capable of updating programs with better ones, then that's a good thing.

People are claiming that there will be a lot of "negotiability" with the dealerships on the Camaro pricing. I think they're too hopeful - only time will tell if these prices were in line with "what you get" with the cars, but I don't think the price boosts are worth it at this point.

Hasn't the Mustang genuinely been a better deal for all previous versions? (per dollar)
Not that it matters, I still think the Mustang is more attractive and I have more faith in products built by Ford.

Those in the market for a Mustang GT might as well purchase the GT.

those in the market for a 2SS might as well get a GT350 for the price - and end up with the better car.

What Ford did what give chevy enough rope to hang themselves.

The S550 launched "soft" save for the GT350. the big upgrades haven't even made it to the platform yet. It's all just geometry, rigidity, and refinement at this point.

The Camaro is coming out swinging as hard as they can... and that's all they can muster?

A ZL1 is coming. Funny they don't want to go head to head with the 350. That way the Camaro oldsters can justify the ZL1s slowness compared to the GT500 that comes after, while they hope to eclipse the GT350 with a new Z28 only after it is no longer sold.

I sense good days ahead for Mustang fans.

It would also seem those stretching their budgets to get a performnce car will buuy a GT. And those with more money would buy a GT350.

Camaro is in a rough spot. It's almost like Chevy is banking on the Camaro fanboy vs the performance car enthusiast.
