Yup, they texted me and said the hinge was on backorder. I was all:

Once they get that, I'm hoping everything will get put back together. Of course it'll probably be done after we move three hours away

So what's the status? At the shop? Have you seen the work being done? Stopped in the check on things?

At the shop, taken apart completely, not sure if they have finished the paint yet. Been too busy to drop by, but they sent a ridiculous amount of pictures.

That's good. Post them here so we can see what's happening. I'm fascinated by the process of tearing a car apart and repairing it.
