15 throttle body vs 18

Does anyone know if a18 gt throttle body will work on a 15 gt. There different part numbers but I don’t see much difference. Has anyone tried it.

No it will not the 15 to17 are analog and the 18 up are digital

Analog? It's drive by wire too. I'm sure they don't swap because the sensors attached are probably calibrated differently.

Ok so it would just require a digital to analog converter. So it can be done just not practical

15 is drive by wire also. 18 is digital I just looked into it

That’s why if you want to run an 18 mustang with a GT 350 throttle body you need a analog digital converter

What are you after . Sounds like your making things harder the you need too.

They will bolt and plug right up . But the pcm will not play .

I can get a replacement 18 throttlebody for next to nothing wear a 15 throttlebody is a little expensive.
