I guess it's no longer accurate to call it a cigarette lighter, but is it always on? If you plug something into it and turn off the ignition and walk away will it still be on the next day? 2020 MY

You could test it, and it would not take very long to have the answer.

Everything should shut off in about 10 minutes. Many times I leave doors, trunk, and hood open (always leave hood open), to work on the car, or something, and all lights stay on until that time, including mirror, glove box (if open), map lights, trunk light, and 12V receptacle (I have a 12V-to-USB adapter, and blue LED stays lit as well). I'd like that everything shut off immediately, since the battery in our cars is very marginal as it is. If anybody knows how to reduce the time to zero (or almost zero) via FORScan, please post the right code :). Thank you.

This is for an F150, but should give you a starting point. Right around the 3:20 mark.

Also, search the Forscan threads in this forum. This topic has come up before and I'm pretty sure people have successfully modified their as-built to turn off the 12v power point immediately or keep it on longer.

I couldn't open that damn link (no permission), but seems like if I turn the xxxx x1xx to xxxx x0xx, it turns the timeout option off, so might try that, since I want no timeout at all. That way I don't have to mess with the hex figures. By the way, my Bullitt has the same '1194' as that F-150, but on the F-150 it immediately turned off the 12V power. On my car, it stays on (inside the glove box). That's weird. Can't figure out what the '1194' means in 'seconds'; just curious about that. Thank you.

Oh, and if that '0' also turns off the damn map lights, it'd be awesome :). Will report later on this change.

Okay, just messed with this, and disabling the power point timeout (xxxx x0xx) did squat, so obviously not the same on the Bullitt. So put all zeroes on the first 4 digits, and it threw an error, so ended up with '0001', and that did the trick. So left it as 0001 0100 00xx, which was the way it was except the first 4 digits. The 12V power now cuts off almost immediately after turning ignition off.

Now, does anybody know how to make all the interior lights turn off much quicker? Currently, it takes about 10 minutes. I'd like maybe 30 seconds max. Was looking at the BCM but nothing made sense to do that. Only saw 'police dark' mode, which I think turns all interior lights off... but all the time, and I don't want that. Thank you.
