11-17 23 spline Exedy Hyper single question MT82

So on the11-17 mustangs w/ 23 spline mt82 do we need a spacer behind the TOB or slave cylinder what ever we call it?
I was under the impression that it was a straight swap with oem parts. Anyone have any experience with this please need help lol.

Having to use a spacer was something I didn't learn about till after I did the install on my '15. Turned out fine. The engagement point is similar to stock but quite a bit heavier. Lots of chatter early on too.

Bolted it on without spacers.
