Looks like the exhaust manifolds have the same part number on the Ford website so aftermarket shorties for earlier sixes should bolt right up

Same 4 numbers, or same entire number set before and after the four? If just the same 4, then could still be different. Ford numbering system, all manifolds would share the core 4 digits (like listed at ford parts.com) and the numbers and letters before those and after would designate the actual fitment.

Only 4 digits were listed for the entire part number 9430

So I know that this is not the most scientific comparison but it illustrates my point. This is my manifold on the top vs a stock 2014 manifold. Notice the part numbers cast on the manifold are the same. (31 vs 30 means right or left)

Right I see. I can't make out the bottom one are they identical or no

Yea sorry it was the only picture I could find of a 14's manifold... To answer the question yes it is the exact same part number so there should be no difference in the exhaust manifolds. All 11-14 shorty headers should fit with no issue on our 15's.
