I just hit 100k miles on my 10r80 5.0! (very hard miles) My transmission is slipping currently and super jerky I think it's time to rebuild it / replace.
I was wondering what rebuild kit is best? I unfortunately know nothing about transmissions so i was hoping i can get some suggestions. I plan on keeping my 5.0 as a my daily driver its currently fbo e85. I do race the car here and there for fun I was wondering what's the best route i can take to have it running brand new.
I was looking at these 2 kits
1.) https://www.beefcakeracing.com/mcleod-88198/
2.) https://www.lethalperformance.com/s...QIMu2uvTq_D-eN1Dyb4pem-1QsHu_glJY2beyY7rMfMwg
I was wondering what's the difference & is there other stuff I would need to purchase like a torque converter to have it running like its brand new? I don't have any knowledge about transmissions so i honestly have no idea what i'm looking at im just looking at the price
what would be the best route to rebuild my 10r80 for daily use? What's the best inexpensive way to rebuild it.
