I'm just telling you anything over 800 and you're going to need some bias ply tires, or you're gonna have to restrict the Rate. I cut 1.4's on 20's at the strip, dead hook on my drag radials, but that's on a prepped surface. I have every bmr suspension mod and a set of double adjustable Vikings, but I have to restrict the Rate to 65-70% for me to get traction from a roll. There's not many people making 1000+ in an S550 that can provide this feedback for you, it's up to you whether you want to believe it or not.

OK, but that is two completely different things. There is a big difference between 800 RWHP and 1,000 RWHP. I did not comment on 1,000, I commented on 800. You said 100 MPH "melts" your tires with 800 RWHP. I just fail to see that when with 74 RWHP less I have perfect traction at 60 MPH.

Well you definitely can't compare the way your whipple delivers the power compared to a set of twins. PD blowers hit, then die off, drop like anchors up top. Turbos continue to build power the faster they go, especially since I have to ramp in the boost. What is your torque at 726whp? I make 856/811 on 14psi, which I'm guessing is A LOT more tq then your whipple setup, and tq is what melts tires. We can go back and forth all you want but you are going off of speculations and assumptions whereas I'm going on my own results.

Yes I would hook at 800+ if I was on a set of bias ply's with 60mm sidewalls and my Vikings on drag settings (10c 5r) and my Rate turned down but that's not the way I like to roll.

That is a lot more torque than me, correct. Maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation if you would have said "torque" and not "horsepower".

I don't know why you think PD's drop like an anchor up top, though. I make horsepower to 7,800+ RPM and my torque stays +-25 ft-lb from low 3,000's all the way up to 7,800 RPM. Definitely no dropping off like an anchor up top.

Ive had a whipple on GT500 and a TVS on my GT, they both hit hard then die off compared to my twin setup. PD blowers give you everything they got from the initial hit, all hell breaks loose when you mash the throttle but then they run out of steam up top. Turbos are the opposite, have a slower delivery, take just a second to spool then freight train up top, I loose traction in mid acceleration compared to losing traction just on a the initial hit. I've been gaining 34-35mph on the back half where as both my whipple and tvs setups were 28-30 on a the back half.

Plan of attach I'd take for this:
Oliver or Manley I beam rods
Diamond Pistons (Manley's have ring landing issues)
Stock heads, with upgraded valve springs
Darton sleeved block
MLS gaskets with ARP hardware
Billet Crank Gear
Aftermarket oil pump gears
Sleeve Supports (only ~ $350 so why not)
