These are pictures of the seat wiring as requested by Spartan. Top is drivers side and bottom is passengers side. Unfortunately I can't get a clear picture of the actual wiring coming out of the carpet but I was able to snap a picture of the seat side of the wiring. It looks to be about the same amount of wiring coming to each seat.

Does your passenger seat have power seats? Interesting there is wiring to it if there isn't any power to it.

Can someone possibly post a shot of the underneath of the premium seats please.

The upgraded equipment package 051A includes only a Power Driver Seat, Passenger Seat is manual. Instead, they give you the "Blade Spoiler".

Yah that's what I thought. Wonder why there is wiring to the non power seat (unless that's the same pic twice up there).

The thing you have to remember is that even though the seat isn't power you still have an airbag and an airbag pressure sensor for the passenger airbag off. I do agree though that there are more wires then I would expect for an airbag. I assure you that they are two different pics of the driver and passenger seat.

Then that most likely means that you could swap seats with the premium. Going to PM a few members and see if I can get some underseat pics.

I drove a V6 with 051A and Auto trans and an EB with PP and Auto trans today. I wouldn't get the auto trans with either, and would get the 3.55 RAR with the V6, if I chose the V6. They are similarly quick, just very different character. The V6 pulls harder at initial WOT but the surge of torque from the EB makes itself felt in the 2500-3000 rpm range. There's definitely a lot of torque on tap in the typical DD speeds and it pulls well, but during typical traffic situations there wasn't much to choose between the two. The character of the V6 and it's high rpm nature/sound was more pleasing, but that's probably just more what I am used to. I know the tuning potential of the EB is huge, but if a V6 Premium was offered this would be an easy choice. Frustration...

I think you have to go with the V6. The note alone is well worth it. No V4 is going to produce that note of a V6 or V6. Plus ZackMD posted a nice exhaust set up aftermarket that sounds nice.

Also, make sure you Private Message Fordservice on here and Rachael who is awesome will take your information and your interest in a V6 premium and send it up the chain. Many people want the premium offered in a V6.

Very interesting.... That box labeled "FoMoCo" must be the heated and cooled seat control module as my power drivers seat does not have that. Looks like it would be as simple as bolt and go for power passenger seat. Heated and cooled seats would require Myford touch (more specifically the center stack bezel with the controls) at the very least.

We will often have 3 passengers, it is much easier, and FASTER rear seat access with a manual seat on passenger side. That's a bonus for day to day, but long drives it nice to have power seat for passengers. I'm surprise there isn't a quick release for power seats. (Another idea I should have patented :headbonk: )
