Hey ya'll just wanted to know how much ambient heat and warm can affect STFT readings. When my IAT are under 99F, my readings are around a consistent 1.0. Around 110F+, they'll sit around 1.10 in Park. Any hot-state friends notice this?
I know you can wrap your headers for performance gains and it will also reduce the amount of heat they produce into your engine bay, but by how much? By how much should I expect the intake air temps to drop (I have an exposed cold air intake) if I wrap my headers?

Serious question please.
Whoever has a JLT can please share the follow info please
1. Delta (so how much raise) for the IAT temp at the crosslight (let's say 1min at the stop)
2. Cruising IAT (like how many F Above ambient)
Once again. This is a serious question. And it is for research.

I’ve been doing some datalogging examining the effects of an intercooler on charge temperatures during daily driving. Using my OBDLink MX and Torque Pro, I’ve datalogged several days of driving in Houston this summer.
Some things to note about the datalogs:

I picked up a used SCT X4 to do data logging with. Does anyone know how or if I can log charge air temps (IAT2) with it? At first glance, it doesn't look possible. When I went into monitoring/logging and tried to set the gauges, I could find IAT but not IAT2. I set it up for 8 gauges and was...
Hi all FI guys. I'm a long time mustang guy and currently have a D1SC but no fancy liquid intercooler, and even better all these electronics. I'm curious if we can compile a list of intake air temps under different conditions by different vendors? Would be curious of these measurements after a...
