My salesperson invited me to attend the Ford training for the sales employees where I am buying. I heard a 90-minute presentation going over all of the information that we mainly already know here. The trainer also provided some Mustang trivia questions, some of which I knew, some of which I didn't.

At any rate, I got to sit in the car again and study it a bit more. I heard the car started and drive away.
It was a Ruby Red Premium EcoBoost automatic car without a performance pack. I didn't get a shot of the window sticker unfortunately.

Here's a list of the new things I heard and saw, in no particular order -
1) there is soft-touch material on the upper part of the door panels and it feels very premium (Topnotch mentioned this in a previous post)
2) the halo lighting surrounding the gauges on the current cars via the MyColor feature is not present in this one
3) the 50th limited editions will be interspersed through the 2015 model year build cycle
4) there is no remote start feature with the manual transmission (probably already in the dealer guides but I can't recall)
5) if you use the line lock 20 times on your 20" summer performance tires, you probably will have used up the tread!
6) the traction control can be turned totally off with the toggle selector by holding it up for 5 seconds
7) the MyFordTouch hardware in the 2015 now recognizes 10000 different SYNC voice commands
8) you get 1 free year of SYNC services in the MyFordTouch SYNC system
9) the vehicle health report and SYNC services option will be phased out by 2017
10) future SYNC systems are under development but it will probably not be until 2017 when the new ones phase in

I've got some photos of the car below with some of the detail features, but I also will post to the Race Red thread as well. These were taken in overcast conditions.

My wife saw the car today for the first time, and she said she thought the lines were very nice.

I see white stitching on a black leather interior. Is this the answer to the coveted 68B interior question or is this standard? Any chance they mentioned? This car does not have the 50 year appearance package from what I can tell.

Car looks great in Ruby Red. Ruby red, Guard, and Magnetic are my top colors thus far.

I see the massive gaps are still there in the wheel wells.

A Mustang Ecoboost Premium with PP vs a Golf R is going to be an awfully tough choice.

Some underhood detail shots...in the third photo on the left, you can see the catalytic converter located close to the end of the exhaust manifold

The angle of my photos might have accentuated the way it looks. I checked again with my finger measurement tool and counted three fingers in the rear between the tire and the fender edge. In my 2010, I can get all 5 of my fingers in the same area. The PP is supposed to be a bit lower.

In person and from the side, the gap looks definitely lower than the current V6 and V8 GT cars.

At idle, it was "mild". I didn't hear it accelerate away at full throttle. It is "mechanical sounding".

Why is the projected pony running to the right?
Hahaha - awesome question! The trainer mentioned this too. He didn't have a good explanation for that.
