I've been running a Whipple for a while now, so I don't completely know the intricacies of the ProCharger setup. However, I feel I have a good enough grasp of the ProCharger's capabilities to know when someone is spewing bull.

I ran across this video 20 minutes ago and cringed. Is 4 digit wheel horse power possible with an Aluminator short block, competition heads, modified headers, and a ProCharger?

Just another dumb shit talking out his ass. 2.18 in was as far as I needed to watch. As soon as he said P1SC that was all I needed to know. With the F1A and supporting mods i could believe four digits.

This dude is a lame I called him out. He is full of shit I mean,I'm not an expert but there's two different Aluminator 11.1 and I think 9.1 for boost. He said he has 11.1 to and pushed like 1300 I don't see that not blowing up. He also said the mcleod rxt was a bad street clutch that's BS. This noodle also miss infourms people saying whipples aren't good for the steerts and DD. Its pathetic and honestly I hope know one listens to they turd.

Making more power on higher compression is easier than lower compression. Lower compression requires more boost for the same power a higher compression would make on a nice bit less bost. Someone is making 1050whp on an Aluminator right now on our forum with 21psi, on 11.1 hes running twins. However a p1sc blower is pathetically small for that power.

Yeah, this was explained to me by my tuner when I bought my Aluminator. I had my mind set on the low compression motor, but he talked me out of it. The block on 21psi... that's a Hellion Kit, ain't it?

Good info didn't know that I thought if you we're going to run high boost you wanted lower compression. But I do know this guy is a bullshiter he say his motor is 600whp with out the procharger his car sound more stock then mine does

Yeah. Chvypwr. His yellow vert. Its for sale. Your tuner was smart to talk you out of lower compression. The only downside is you have less room for errors in your tune or gas etc. Im debating if i want to use a 11.8 or 12.8 compression for my build. Going pte 8685. 7s or bust. :headbang:

With compression that high and running that much do you have to rebuild the bottom end fast then low compression.

No. Not in all my previous builds. Ive always ran 11.8 or 12.8 and had years without issues. Infact i always sold them with whatever built engine i had originally put together.

How soon a rebuild happens really just depends on usage including billet forged rods vs aluminium rods. When you exceed 250hp per cylinder you start seeing highly accelerated bearing ware. When you switch to an aluminum rod they act as a shock absorber and extended the life. Typically when you replace your bearings with aluminum rods you replace both of those including your pistions because at 300hp per cylinder that shit doesnt live forever. Being im not looking for more then the 1500whp maximum (1800 crank) boost which is 225 a cylinder the billet rods and bearings should last quite awhile. It probably will hardly see maximum boost. Itll most likely stay on the 1100-1300whp range. If it doesnt ever detonate it should live around 20-25k with the hard abuse ill put it through. Which most of the miles would be drag racing and street racing. Being the car will most likely see only 3k miles a year at most which is a little more then 7 years. Engine life at that power level is always dependent on how you use it.

Im personally going with a Jpc/Rgr engine and heads. They run the coyote game. I can get a better built engine with better parts for cheaper then an Mpr build. Dont misunderstand Mpr is great but i want better, especially for cheaper. If i didnt go jpc/rgr i had decided on Accufab or BES

"built to flow in excess of 35psi boost"

WTF?

"It's a completely built race engine with stage 3 comp cams, ported intake, custom electronics, billet crank and so on. Still a modular Ford engine, but this one is hardened for high levels of boost. I run the P1SC1 on the street, but I use an F-1R head unit on the track. Takes a full day to convert and race tune when I want to use the F-1R. That's why I retained the Boss heads."

This is going to be like shooting fish in a shot glass.
