I had a thread a week or so ago about looking at a new car. Decided to get out of the Mustang while the value was high.

I bought my 2015 Premium for $36k 18 months ago and was able to trade it in for $30k. I found those number acceptable on a trade in.

Picked up a 2015 Audi SQ5 (CPO to 100k miles). My 2000 Audi A6 was the best car I have ever owned and I have been looking to get back into one foe a while. I found the right car and went.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for a great 18 months. Mustang is a great community and this place will be missed. I will try and drop a photo of the new ride in this thread later tonight.

Just some crappy cell phone pix, but you get the idea.

Man, that's a bit of a change, manual sports coupe to automatic SUV. Enjoy though! They're sharp looking.

Congrats on the ride!

Why do you think the values are so high? I'm leasing my 15 base GT and I just made my 20th payment. I owe 26,750 buyout, but have gotten as good as 28,750 for trade in. It really has me thinking about it. I wouldn't have expected that with 19 payments left on my lease.

I am not sure. New car sales are still very strong and the 15 and up mustangs are still relatively new.

I don't expect that trend to last, so I jumped on it. If I had enough money, I would loved to have kept my GT as a weekend car.

So, what is your fun car since you got the SUV?
The SQ5 is no slouch. 0-60 in 5.1 ....... 13.5 in the 1/4......just no more smokey burnouts.

I will get by. It was weird driving to work today. Saw tons of mustangs.

Congrats on the new ride, not a bad choice at all.

Enjoy and (in my best Arnold voice) "stick around"
