Installed the Jack rails and also had the clutch spring.

I'll add a picture or two later, but the install is straight forward, NO WHERE CLOSE TO EASY, but there are no steps worth mentioning.

One thing that I did was cracked the upper perch taking off the 100+ lb spring.

This was the hardest part of the swap. The factory spring is really tough.... really tough. LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN!

REALLY TOUGH!!!!

You compress the spring with vice locks and move the entire assembly towards the right side.

It should come apart and gently shoot all over the place. The pieces are big so there is no change of losing them.

But you can break them... Like I did mine.

So does anyone have an extra upper perch for the clutch spring assembly.

Clutch feels different... dont know if it feels better, but the lighter spring is noticeable.

You mean you cracked the side of the perch? If so, that is fine to run it like that....shouldn't fall off.
