Ive had my ProCharger HO kit (HO Kit, upgraded to Stage 2 Intercooler - not a complete Stage 2 Kit) installed for over a year now - running their tune. You can read my initial review of this kit here, running their tune: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19934

This spring I decided to switch to ID1000s, catless Pypes headers and Lund Tuning nGuage through Beefcake.

The tuning process was extremely easy, Dakota at Lund was exceedingly helpful and responsive, and I couldnt be happier with the tune. The Driveability alone has been worth the switch. - I am not trying to knock the off the shelf ProCharger tune here - however I wish I had switched to a Lund Tune earlier. All of my partial throttle issues have been resolved ... the power delivery is smooth ... Im a happy boy.

I ordered the above, along with McLeod Clutch, DSS Axles and a handful other upgrades from Beefcake. As always Terry was exceptionally helpful, and provided great pricing.

A year later and I am 100% positive that I made the right choice, for me, by going with a ProCharger kit. I simply wish I had started off with a "Beefcake Special"- Tuned kit. The tuning process was so easy and straightforward ... its really the way to go.

Anyway, just wanted to show dyno graphs of the car Stock -> Pro Charged with the Pro Charger Tune -> Catless headers with Lund Tune and ID1000s.

All pulls were performed on the same dyno.

All pulls were performed on piss poor 91oct fuel.

Please note that I am not trying to compare the Lund Tune and the ProCharger tune in terms of power, as it is not an apples to apples comparison.

100% Stock:

Procharger HO Kit - ONLY - 100% stock car otherwise - ProCharger Tune:

Procharger HO Kit - ONLY - ProCharger Tune vs Stock:

Lund Tune :

Lund Tune vs Stock:

I am quite pleased with the way my car is running right now. Next I need to install my OPG, Timing gear and BAP ... then up the boost and figure out some better fuel...

Huge thankyou to Dakota at Lund and Beefcake!

Dang. That is awesome. I am looking to SC next spring. I like the value of the beefcake paxton special, but really like the procharger offering. Those numbers are right where I was hoping to be.

Looks like a fair bit more torque ~2500rpm and up. Is the additional torque down low noticeable?

How do you find things with the 3.73s?

Yeah, the low end torque is definitely noticeable.

I wouldnt mind taller gears some times ... other times I like the shorter gears, makes the car really fun to drive a lot of the time.

Very helpful!!!!!!!!!!! Great numbers and good choices..:)
I am running the exact same setup except I have a BAP and running 9.5psi of boost.
I know cars are different but this gives me hope that I am at the 600 number I was wanting...Lund was awesome to work with.

Awesome to see those results! I would recommend getting a boss intake and having Lund re-tune your car for it. That's what I did on mine, and it screams all the way up to 8k rpms!!!

Nice gains! Same pulley?
Likely the same pulley.

Since these systems were first designed/tuned, MANY additional features have been added to the commonly used tuning software platforms. These additions have allowed more power to be made with these cars with F/I.

So I can't say for 100% sure, but I will be willing to bet when we slow down a little, I can get some more time to strap our demo cars down, and "play" a little more with some of these features.

For now though, our files are still very safe and reliable. But for maximum potential, custom tunes are really netting some killllller results. :) Even on this HO system listed above.

Yes, same pulley. Sorry for the delay, the wife and I were away for the weekend and I wasnt checking any emails.

ProCharger - Sorry, I wasnt trying to knock the off the shelf tune ... and as stated, with headers and different injectors, it was not an apples to apples comparison.

No I totalllly understand. All good man.

I was just saying, that now that the software companies have really "opened" up a lot more sections of these PCMs, we "might" go back and see if we can refine out canned tune just a bit. Before it was like trying to tune with one hand tied behind your back... ;) Safe, and reliable... but leaving a little on the table.

Thanks for the post though!, and super stoked to hear you are loving it! :)
