Do you have a link to how you did everything? I would love to know what you bought and how you did it

This is the app that my controller uses. Some controllers use different apps, but my uses this one.

I had to make this kit work. Extended the cup holder wires so one would reach to the front of the shifter. The cup holder doesn't allow much choice for placement with the kit I used. I may eventually get a factory illuminated cup holder, but this works for now.

The way I have the relays wired, the lighting comes on with the parking lights or when a door is opened. There is one issue that I haven't figured out yet. After driving and shutting the car off, the lighting won't come on when the interior lights turn on, even if I open the door. I can hear the relay switch, but they don't come on. Now, if I wait until the interior lights turn off, I can then open the door and the lighting will come on. Not sure what exactly happens right after the car is shut off.

Not sure if they are brighter. Yes, you can dim them, pick a solid color, flashing colors, fading colors, etc. In the video, I had it on a slow fade. It can speed up and slow down more from where I had it.

Oh and I should mention, you can turn them off and on in the app and the controller will keep the last setting. If you have them set how you like it, they will return to that setting when powered back up.

So, I think I figured out what is causing the issue with the lights not coming on at times. It is intermittent and I believe due to the dimming on and off of the dome light. I disconnected the trigger wire for the parking light relay and still had the issue. Reconnected that and disconnected the trigger for the dome relay. Lights work perfectly except they only stay on for about 30 seconds after a door is opened. I need to find a trigger wire for the dome that isn't in the dimming circuit (if one exists). I'll run it with just the connection to the parking lights for now until I can find a solution.

THis is me guessing, but what about tapping the (i think.. purple wire) that is used for the illuminated sill plates. Passenger footwell kick panel.

Having that run a relay that should be able to continuously power multiple circuits like theses. That should provide continuous lighting along the lines of having open doors or dome lighting on... I think.
