Hey all, I added factory lighted door sill plates and bought an OEM (different auto manufacturer ) ambient light kit. The goal is to use a wifi controller, so I can change colors with my phone. Bought a wifi controller only to discover that it's output is common anode. Factory lighting works as common cathode. Wtf? So, after a very frustrating search, I found and purchased a converter to use the common anode wifi controller with my common cathode lighting. Whew! Fyi, most rgb strips and lighting kits I've seen are common anode and will not work with the factory lighting, unless a converter is used. Thought I'd pass this info along for anyone that is or has been frustrated trying to find a solution for wifi control.
