Curious on some feedback as i am looking into these. I know KW makes both versions and maybe Roush uses different spring rates but i was not able to find any info comparing the two when i made some calls.

has anyone here installed these kits yet to offer good feedback

My Roush Single adjustment coilovers arrived today. Installing them and MM caster/camber plates tomorrow. I'll be glad to share some feedback.

I heard these units are essentially the same, just the Roush stuff is rebranded. Be advised that the "single adjustable" means height adjustable only... damping is not adjustable in the KWv1

please post up some feedback once you do, i think anything will be a nice improvement over just doing lowering springs. I ordered some KW but they are on backorder still

We took a trip over to Roush and test drove a couple of their Stage 3's. Even on the MI crappy roads they were surprisingly comfortable with great response in them.

You driven a car with FRPP handling pack suspension setup buddy? If so how would you say they compare please?

Ok got the Roush single adjustable coilovers installed today and did some driving on them. I was really anxious and maybe even a little stressed to see how it would come out to tell the truth.

I'm no professional driver so my perspective is given from an average person who's enjoyed driving a decent range of vehicles. So mostly a daily driver opinion.

So I started with some highway driving and purposely took some routs that I know well so I could compare the ride from old to new. Especially a section that used to annoy me because the way the freeway is formed the car on stock suspension would do this continuous short bounce up and down. With the new suspension this is gone. I don't bounce in the seat and it just seems to be eaten up by new shocks and springs. On some of the more hard bumps or changes in pavement types where there is a lip or drop in height, the car used to rebound really good. That is gone as well and now the car just rises or drops and stays firm with the road. But it's not a hard feeling at all. i then got a good long stretch of road that was smooth black top. i opened her up a little and had a lot of fun changing lanes without any delayed response and no swaying feeling.

I then got off the freeway and took some stop light roads going from city to city. one thing stands out for sure. There is almost no pitch when braking at all. in fact you have to be staring at the horizon on the hood and concentrating to notice it. Likewise the squat when hitting the gas is also gone. The car just gets moving while keeping it's stance. Taking S curves can be done with confidence and feeling like you and the car are one. After easing into the first couple I was taking the rest a lot faster than I normally do and enjoying there not being any roll.

In short it's a different car all together after installing them. I feel like this is what should have been installed on the car in the first place. For daily driving this set up is extremely comfortable. Now I just want to get it on the track! Only downside I can report at this time (only one day of driving) is that this setup has shown me that my stock wheels and no spacers are just not going to do this nice lowered stance the justice it deserves.

guys i installed the KW V1 earlier today and i really like them so far, i am sure these are identical to the Roush versions and cost me much less.

I haven't adjusted the height really its about where it was with springs and i need to get the alignment done as i can feel my toe is def off. rides very good and worth the investment but it is a costly investment for sure.

I will report back more after more driving.

after 50 miles of driving my alignment is way out of whack even though the ride height is exact where the sport springs put it. I threw my Longacre race gauges on the car today just to see and now the car has Positive camber up front .9 and 1 . I know Roush and KW all swear you do not need camber correction but i think its obvious you do. I need to get some Steeda camber plates this week before i get to the alignment shop. I even tried lowering the car another 1/2 inch to see if it made camber switch to negative and it did not. looks like the location of the mounting holes on the front struts is very different compared to the OEM units which have a crushed portion for tire clearance and the aftermarket ones do not. I bet the compensated for this with the mounting holes. The rear of the car is perfect, the camber and toe are all the same as prior with the lowering springs.

also the ride quality is good, the car still has some bounce to it but not as severe in the rear plus the roads in the NYC area are very bad and i don't think any shock will fully fix this around here. it doesn't seem as firm as the PP shocks and Eibach springs for some reason. Il be honest its a great quality kit but i was expecting a much firmer feel to the car. I will get the alignment dialed in and then see if anything changes. I may switch to the AFE or the KW V3 instead we will see. I really want a firmer rebound on the shocks. I have other modified cars all running JRI coilovers and they ride and handling is unreal. Maybe the Cortex kit is my best choice but its damn expensive.

Thanks for the reviews guys. So it sounds like we definetly need camber plates for these coil overs. Can you give any feed back for performance and ride quality vs lowering springs, and oem springs? I find the oem PP suspension very comfortable as is, I wouldnt want to ruin that aspect of my daily driver.

I have read there were many members with rattling/clunking issues with lowering springs. That would drive me crazy. Do these coilovers produce any abnormal noises?

Thanks!

I'm not understanding where the KW's are cheaper than the Roush set?
