I just installed the airaid race intake and I feel like there is a loss of power slightly. Maybe I'm just getting through the power band quicker now and am losing power at the appropriate time. Anyone with a open intake like jlt or MAP have any of the same feelings?

I'm installing my JLT CAI and Bama Track tune tonight when I get home...I'll let you know how the setup feels. If they fix the issue with power after 5800
RPM ill be very happy

Installed a JLT CAI saturday and noticed no difference. Also coincided with installing roush axle-backs.

Weather has been kinda cruddy with snow, so haven't really got on it hard - but feels about the same as it did before.

Ok, I feel like it's insanly louder than before but no real pick up in power and as I said, maybe even a loss at upper end...

I can tell you right now it won't. It's not the tune or the intake causing it. It's the stock turbo running into the very edge of it's efficiency range. An intake and tune will help it a little bit but not much.

It feels like the car is being held back. It did not feel like this with the stock intake. I am going to pick up an X4 in a few and hook up with Torrie for a tune. I will see if this helps at all. It is almost like the car is retarding timing due to the increased air flow. This is the Track Day intake from Airaid with a proper filter for everyday driving.

Reset the battery, and do some normal driving for a day or two. Report back ;)

Well absolutely, if you are in the market for a tuner I highly recommend dropping me a pm or adding me on facebook. There are some good facebook post I can link you to about our Custom tunes for Cobb Accessport. With Accessport you will also be able to log your OAR % to make sure that you car is allowing max power.
