Engine Tick?

Hi guys,

I picked up my V6 yesterday with less than 10 miles on the clock, but when I opened the hood yesterday, the engine was ticking much louder than I expected. Is this normal during engine break in?

Any advice or guidance is appreciated.

I just hit 1000 miles on my v6 mustang and mine has a ticking sound as well, but its not loud. You can barely hear it with the hood open.

Normal for the DOHC 3.7.
