No 93 octane where I live and I have been mixing boostane with 91 to make 93. Are there any long term negative effects using it in every tank that I should worry about?

I'm not familiar with Boostane, but most of the octane boosters I've seen did very little to actually boost the octane of a tank, something like 0.1 octane points per ten gallons. Is it actually doing anything worthwhile?

Clogs cats is the only thing I'm aware of.

if your boosted with cats they will fail anyway so go catless and continue to use the octane boost. nothing worst then getting a bad tank of gas with boost...

For most octane boosters, yes. Boostane does actually work though and it's the only product (or one of the only ones) that I'm aware of that is recommended by Whipple.

race gas-octane booster works, every can comes with a chart to show you how much you need to add to get the desires octane level. Vp racing fuels octanium also works well. Torco works well..etc they all have different price ranges...Amazon sells them all...

Going to be in a similar situation. Tuned for 93 and only 92 available where im going. Will be mixing boostane with 92. Are you still mixing? Any harm so far?

You might change the spark plugs more often. They get an orange build up.

O2 sensors turn orange too. Don't know if it's detrimental to anything.

I've been running about 8 oz. per tankful with 93 octane for over 7K miles, abut 2,500 of those have been with FI.

I have had no issues at all, and my butt dyno could tell a difference in the upper rpm range when NA.

8k miles on boostane and only issue is I constantly have to clean my orange exhaust tips to find the chrome underneath.
