This seems to have been well executed and produced interesting results.

http://www.stangtv.com/tech-stories...old-shootout-gt-gt350-boss-302-and-cobra-jet/

Basically says, the stock GT manifold is great! It keeps be low end torque that the boss and Cj lose. The boss manifold is good, and produces slightly more power, but it's all basically above 6500 rpm. The CJ is good and makes a lot more power (31 I think) but they mention something about idle and emissions? I would have to dig more into that. Now the GT350 was best I believe. Raised the rpm by 700 I think, and made similar power as the boss, but kept some low end torque.

Anyway, interesting read. Enjoy

Can't tell for sure but it appears they used the stock TB on all but the CJ manifold. Seem a little unfair if that's true. Would have like to see them at least use the GT350 TB with the manifold.

That and on the Boss 302 and GT350 intake manifold they used a tiny restrictive intake tube with a tiny filter which likely cost power. The stock GT throttle body flows quite a bit for its size if it is hooked to a proper high flowing intake tube and manifold.

I'm sure the gt350 would have looked much better had it been on a 15+ engine.

All it needs is an engine cover. Too bad the stock one doesn't fit with the 350 manifold.

I was implying the Powe results, but it does suck the engine cover doesn't fit.
Your right on the power results. Without moving those intake runners with the variable cam timing, that dyno run on the '14 block is irrelevant to us +15 guys/gals.

Yeah torque peaked way later than normal with the GT350 manifold and it lost more power down low than we are seeing on the new gen coyote dyno results.

Better flowing heads too.

I'm pretty sure the gt350 mani will be my next go fast mod.

My next mod is definitely going to be the GT350 manifold. If it's anything like the Boss 302 intake manifold I had on my 13GT I'll be trilled. I've never done a bolt on mod that I felt gains from like I did that Boss manifold and the GT350 seems to be even better overall.

My catless LTs did a lot more than, CAI and tune combined. I'm still missing the low end torque from my camaro, so that's not I'm willing to lose anymore on. CJ and boss are out for me.
