Cold weather starts can sometimes be a little longer due to e85 gelling up a bit. I recommend running gasoline in the cold winter months (anything under 40*). E85 is hydroscopic meaning it absorbs moisture. You do not want to store it for very long. As long as you are using it and not storing it for months you will be ok. I have been running e85 for the last 4 months and 7k miles straight. Lund only recommends an injector upgrade with e85 if you have upgraded the intake manifold and rev close to 8k. I would buy an SCT since it will save you money and have Lund email tune you. Don't bother with the intake unless you get a great deal.
