Just finished this up today and thought I would throw some pictures up I don't see many people running this setup.

Sorry for the slightly blurry pics, cam is messed up on my phone.

Roush gauge is a little bright at night but excellent during the day

Apillar pod could be a little nicer for the price but does have a spot for the tweeter and fit is pretty good. Finish is shiny and not quite the same as factory but you don't really notice it unless you compare side by side.

OK... could you tell us how you routed the wires and the vacuum line?

Yep the roush gauge can be wired to illuminate white or blue

As far as running the vacuum line I went through the sound tube hole in the fire wall (my sound tube is deleted) the hole in the firewall is right behind the gas pedal bracket.

For gauge power I routed the lines under the dash to the passenger side fuse panel (there's a nice tunnel under the radio area for the wiring) then used a micro 2 ATR fuse tap on fuse 36 for power and there's 2 factory grounding locations above the fuse box.

Wish it had red as an option.

Looks good man. Mine is as bright as the damn sun at night. Right before winter I cut out a circular black piece of vinyl with the backing still on that I just plopped over the gauge at night. I was considering getting the Autometer LED Dimmer but the gauge doesn't dim uniformly from what I've seen. I'm going to try to go with a 30% tint over the gauge and see how that works first.

Why not solder in a potentiometer to allow dimming control? It would be extremely cheap and you could mount it somewhere discreet.

You could use a potentiometer however they tend not to be very efficient with an LED.

you could also run this gauge without hooking up the blue or white wire and it would illuminate the needle and the gauge red but its pretty dim that way.

I think the best case scenario would be to place a little bit of window tint on the gauge to cut the very bright light at night.

Its perfect during the day, you can see it very clearly even with the sun directly on the gauge.

Curious how the gauge works with the positive values being 1 inHg per segment, and 2 inHg per segment in the negative (below zero). I can't remember anything else that's analog that can do that, but probably a brain fart on my end.

I'm going to test it. I'll let you know how the tint works.

When I swapped out the leds on my 07, I used a black sharpie over the leds that were too bright and it toned it down. I don't know if you want to open it and try it, but it worked great when I did it.
