Greetings 6G Mustang owners and enthusiasts. Today I’m here to introduce a new product to your community. It's amazing, revolutionary, and will instantly add horsepower to your car. :p Ok, I may be exaggerating just a bit..... but what I am here to introduce is a new to market product that looks great, works right and is customizable to your style. The Exceladyne Cold Air Intake System for the 2015+ Mustang Ecoboost is now available for immediate purchase. This system combines the features and options you want at a price you can afford.

The Important Details:
  • The air intake tube is constructed of lightweight 3.5 inch mandrel bent aluminum. The large diameter of tube ensures the engine can ingest as much air as needed. The lightweight design saves 3 lbs over the stock assembly.

  • The fully shielded air filter is located in the fender well to ensure a steady supply of cold air for your engine. The custom formed shield keeps warm engine bay air separated and away from your intake. As a side benefit it looks excellent and right at home in the engine bay.

  • The system comes with everything you need to install the product. All components have a lifetime warranty including the air filter. The filter can be cleaned and re-used ensuring this is the last filter you buy for your vehicle.

This Intake System Has Been Custom Designed for "Your" Vehicle.

One of the unique aspects of the Exceladyne Air Intake system is its ability to be customized. We know that everyone has different preferences regarding color and finishes. Perhaps your a fan of polished aluminum, you want to add a bit of color to your underhood, or your going for the stealth look. The Exceladyne Intake system can deliver on all of these. Here are the options you can select when ordering this product:

Mix/Match Air Tube and Heat Shield Finish

Air Tube Finish: Our standard colors are powder coat gloss silver and black. These match well with almost any vehicle color. Additionally you can have the tube painted with a color matched paint that will blend seamlessly with your oem finish. The final product is a great match to your oem color with a subtle matte finish. We are considering adding a polished tube option if there was a demand for it. (Let us know!)

Heat Shield Finish: Our underhood heat shield is also available in a variety of styles. Our standard finish is a wrinkle black powdercoat that will look great next to your oem color. If you're looking to add a bit of flash to your engine bay we can offer you a hand polished mirror finish.

DIY Styling: Both the air intake tube and heat shield are available in their raw uncoated finish if you want to do something even more custom to your parts. Because we save a few bucks when we make it, we pass the savings on to you.

That actually does a nice job of cleaning up that side of the engine bay. Is there any real world benefit of the closed-off cold air intake in the fender? I know these cars typically don't seem to care about what intake is attached to them.

Hi there,

Love the look of this intake system. I couldn't find any reference on your website to international shipping... Are you able to ship to the UK at all?

Your 100% right...the car really doesn't care what tube is attached to the throttle body, at least with the stock turbo. The air temps seem to stay a bit cooler in lower speed situations with the shield in place, but I don't have an open filter system to use as a comparison. At the very least the shield really finishes off the engine bay's appearance. We were not fans of the tube hanging in space look and wanted to give you guys a clean installation.

I'm not much of a fan of aftermarket cold air intakes, but this one looks great! Definitely a plus to have it shielded. Any videos of the sound and different angles?

I like the look of it a lot and the price is good, I may have to pick one up. Do you happen to know if the 3.5" intake coupler for the UPR DVCC fits on this tube? I'd assume it would but I'd have to get one to use this so I like to double check.

Any pictures from the front of the car that arent just straight down? This looks amazing with the fender cover; might just have to trade in the MAP CAI lol

I could arrange to sell you a shield, but honestly the angle of the tube would most likely not fit correctly. Better bet might be to sell your existing intake and pick up a complete kit with the proceeds.

I don't see why it wouldn't assuming that coupler is designed to join a 3.5in tube to the factory turbo inlet.
