Maybe I'm just being biased ... but to me it looks like all the parts of the car that give it the "muscle" character are gone now, except maybe the quad exhaust.

Didnt read the whole thread and dont know if anyone pointed this out but the first V8 in a mustang was a 260 not the 289..........

The entire front is ugly IMO. I was thinking about waiting for the 2018, but am definitely going to be buying a 2017 now.

Really hoping that the new gauge cluster and heated steering wheel can be swapped to the 2017 though. That gauge cluster is gorgeous.

TN was talking about the Race Red fastback........there are no '18 convertibles built yet.....and I don't recall seeing a Ruby Red FB

The 2018 Mustang GT will truly live up to the name Grand Touring with the power and handling it will get. The 2018 GT is much more than just a facelift as I was lead to believe, it is like a whole new Mustang GT.

That would certainly make sense if Ford want to hit the 50th anniversaries........although I don't recall a facelifted model having an SE introduced later in the same year.

The GT/CS carried over from '12 to '13 and was introduced with rest of the refreshed range......I'm a little surprised to not see it here with the rest of the '18 reveal.

Of course, there's nothing to stop launching it, or a Bullitt later this year, I just don't recall such a roll out before. And, surely, that hood was designed with a Bullitt in mind! (OK, I know it's '68 inspired, but it'd look soooo good in Highland Green ;) )

I'm still putting all my hopes in a '19MY Mach 1 basket though......with a 5.2 CPC and that 10-speed auto. I know, I'm never satisfied :ford:
