I was charged almost 4K for some third party crap at the dealer after telling them I wanted the Ford ESP. They refunded my 4K I then called up Ford on their website and paid 1800 for 60k miles and 8 years. I double checked with them to make sure the GT350 was covered, they talked to the supervisor and it was. I have my letter from them with my info.
What does you letter say?

7 year, 48k miles. I don't put many miles on mine. Also got the wheel insurance. Nothing else.
I thought so too. Thought I was just gonna drive it on the weekends. Now, if I have a chance, Ill drive it after work every day. Holding off on buying warranty until I can gauge my actual real world usage, and not the hopeful usage I had before I actually got the car.

The car is eligible...the GT350 mentioned in the Ford Protect paperwork listed as ineligible is the post title modified version of the car done up by Shelby America. That car is ineligible. The Ford produced GT350, totally can get Ford Protect. Took my dealer a few days to work that out, but their price was three times that of Flood Ford!

In Canada I got 8 yrs 80000 kilometre ford premium warranty for $1800. Never buy extended warranty on cars but I figured this might be a good one to have it on.Helps me sleep at night knowing that engine is covered as it is kind of the "wild card"

I just got a letter/offer, so I called Ford Protect to inquire. She was knowledgeable and assured me my 2016 GT350 was, in fact, covered. She entered my VIN to get vehicle specific quote. 5 additional years of the "PremiumCARE" warranty coverage (no maintenance included) is $1053. This only allows for 36,000 miles in the first 8 years, but that won't be a problem for me.

Thoughts on this price?

I ended up with 8 year PremiumCARE + Bulb Replacement, 60,000mi ... $945. FloodFordESP, for the win! VIN was accepted and paperwork delivered a day or two ago.

Can someone tell me who the wheel stuff is through. I specifically asked for it and they said the R wasnt eligible for the wheels or tires. But I did get the 7/75K which I will probably switch since you guys were able to get it from Flood I just didnt see it on the website when at the dealer. I got the 7/75K at the dealer for 2K now. My main concern are the mode buttons on the wheel going bad or not working to change the settings at the track.

question if you do 8 year premium care is this overtop of the base warranty or does it overlap the base warranty?

I bought my '16 Tech car with 6 months / 4900 miles on it from a Porsche dealer. I got a full coverage 9 year, 75K warranty with $100 deductible from Zurich through the dealer for $1370.
