Just curious what warranties and or protection plans everyone got. Also what would you recommend and how much you paid?

Thanks in advance!

I did the 8 year extended on the R and the $5000 wheel/tire for it, too.

The GT350's are not eligible for Ford extended service plans. I sell Ford Protect (was Ford ESP) and the GT350 is listed as an ineligible vehicle for both the ESP and FMPP (Maintenance). It is possible that your dealer offered and or sold you an aftermarket warranty, but according to my ESP Price List the GT350s are not eligible.

Lots of varying info. Flood Ford has sold many of these to GT350 owners, VIN was accepted, and the accompanying paperwork. Swedensky is a fellow GT350 owner, works as a finance manager @ a Ford dealership, says these Ford ESP plans are valid for GT350.

5 year tire and wheel care which already saved me 500 bucks when I hit a nail. Only have 350 miles the car...

My dealer provides lifetime power train. I wasn't going to buy the ESP, but their local credit union had a deal where if you bought the ESP my rate dropped more than 1%. My payment dropped lower than the original offer. So I took it.

I'm a finance manager for another manufacturer and live in PA. It is illegal to alter rate based on any products sold (including vehicle service agreements) Perhaps the law is different where you live.

Just going by what I was told by my finance guy...either way I'm glad I have the warranty. But it would be sh$&!y if they made it up to get me to buy it...things that make you go hmmmm...I asked what does an ESP have to do with a credit union's rate, they don't get anything out of it. He said he didn't know...

I was charged almost 4K for some third party crap at the dealer after telling them I wanted the Ford ESP. They refunded my 4K I then called up Ford on their website and paid 1800 for 60k miles and 8 years. I double checked with them to make sure the GT350 was covered, they talked to the supervisor and it was. I have my letter from them with my info.
