Yes we're still using the EFR 8374. It's a great turbo, still has plenty of power left in it. It seems to be ideal for drag racing since it makes big power up top and also has great boost recovery between shifts.EFR 8374, unless they changed very recently.
Old post, but compounds work the other way around. Small turbine gets exhaust first, large compressor gets inlet air first and feeds the small compressor. I feel like the stock turbo and engine bay layout is begging for compound turbos in this car. It's hard to resist the temptation. In short you can expect the same spool from the small turbo but total airflow capacity of the large compressor. Only downsides are packaging constraints, weight, complexity, and cost. But the benefits are often worth it.Wonder how having a GT22 in compound setup (exhaust on big turbo goes into turbine of smaller compressor and compressor of small turbo feeds air into big turbo) would help boost low end numbers...
I am loving the graph, not gonna lie. I am a fan of the low end torque of this car but I think I could live with pushing the torque curve a bit to the right.
