  1. What steering wheels do you guys have in your GTs?

Too tall driver here. Has anyone come across a wheel that retains the stock functions plus airbag but has a deeper dish to it? Thanks.
  2. Steeda Swaybar Endlink Autocrosser

Yes, thanks. But your help is so good, more questions will be arriving shortly. I can’t wait to run this car in anger.
  3. Steeda Swaybar Endlink Autocrosser

They got back to me early Monday. The strings are in the correct spots. He suggested checking the strings are all centered. My moving the upper link to the front hole will require making sure the ABS line won’t get snagged. I’m going to remove the springs and run everything up, down, left and...
  4. Steeda Swaybar Endlink Autocrosser

Thanks. I did send Tim a note and he responded on the weekend (nice) and he has passed it on to his tech team.
  5. Steeda Swaybar Endlink Autocrosser

Following Steeda directions, is this string alignment going to the correct points to adjust for parallel? Also with the camber plates moved to the -3 degree area for 19x11 305 30 19 (haven't measured camber yet) the zerk fitting was tearing into the metal brake lines. I removed it and...
  6. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

    Perfect. Thanks!
  7. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

What brand and model for future reference? Glad it worked for you.
  8. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

Huh. The bolts I got from Ford did have splines. I have plenty of camber with plates and the strut tower is enlarged for a bit more. Your solution sounds like a good way to get around rules for a class not allowing camber plates.
  9. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

I’m confused. Impact gun on the head of the bolt back and forth to remove it? Didn’t that muck up the splines and auger the holes on the strut?
  10. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

I just checked Amazon and the price has jumped $250 since March. I guess build one from a c-clamp… Ouch. OTC 4295 Wheel Stud Service Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009B2M3YO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
  11. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

The lower bolt again required a spacer to clear my 2021 4 bolt hub.
  12. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

The install left handed holding the camera with the other and old guy lung issues. Or…just use an impact gun. Does putting a pre stretch on it pulling the bolt through matter? I’m new to these one use bolts.
  13. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

    Thanks. A much cheaper solution.
  14. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

Have you done this? My old brain forgot but I was trying this a few months ago on a strut not on the car. I cut off the little sliding handle and was going to weld a nut for the ratchet end. I remember having trouble fitting a socket for both inside and outside clearance. I should try again. It...
  15. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

Well that sounds more reasonable. Better than a hammer..
  16. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

This is a 2021 Gt that has a magneride style hub. I needed to stack a spacer to clear the hub for pressing out the bottom bolt. No problem. There wasn’t room for my impact gun but it was not needed! OTC 4295 Wheel Stud Service Kit
  17. No Hammer Splined Strut Bolt Removal

I used a large truck stud remover and they came out easy. Granted the car is only 6 months old but I couldn’t bring myself to take a sledge to it. It cost around $300 so maybe a better club purchase to be loaned out.
  18. 2021 Hub Safe for Long Studs/Spacers?

I have a 2021 GT Non-Magneride but it has the Magneride style front hub that Ford switched over to in 2021. My dilemma is this. I have a Ford Perf hub for earlier spindle steering knuckles, with the elusive ARP long studs.I was hoping to bolt them on but what a surprise when I pulled the wheel...

I do not have magneride according to a Steeda video on youtube. It was near the end of the build year so they must have been low on parts?
