Sounds like our standards are a bit different from each other. I like to have nice stuff and get what I pay for -especially on a big dollar build. While it’s not a huge deal, as I will likely be the only one who will see it, it’s the point that counts. It’s sad that for just about the same...

They have been on the list for a while now -VMS should have their 18x5 & 17x10 wheels (VWST014 & VWST013) landing in the next week or two.

That’s scary if superficial marring could lead to a rapid unscheduled disassembly. Now you have me rethinking my decision to have tires mounted on the least damaged set out of the bunch haha

I’m no metallurgist, or weld inspector (pun intended) but to me, it appears to be cosmetic. Except for the wheel with the “R” written on the face of it, I don’t think I would’ve thought twice about their ability to be used safely.

The dealer at the top of the mountain wouldn’t discount them since it was a “manufacturing defect” as I was told they have to send them back to the manufacturer for exchange.

Update -After sending the pictures over to Weld, they would not tell me if the marring is normal or not, and told me to send the wheels back to them for inspection…

On one set yes. I purchased two from one vendor and two from another which I exchanged for another pair. The vendor they were returned to stated the wheels looked normal.

Everything in the package is missing. The sticker also shows a spoiler delete which it doesn’t have either.

Nothing looks better than a clean black car IMO, but keeping it that way… I’m not a huge fan of the bicolor cars either; however, I wouldn’t mind having the black mirror caps, emblems, wing, and possibly even the larger wheels/tires from the package.

Came across my window sticker for my 22 GT and for the first time, noticed it showed the car having a black appearance package -which it does not. The first thing I did was check the VIN thinking the dealer may have given me the wrong sticker, but it matches the car… Has anyone seen this before?
